Virginia Belling, R.N., M.S., Owner and Director

Virginia Belling has been helping seniors and their families plan for and arrange long term care for more than a decade.  Ms. Belling has had extensive experience in the field of geriatrics, including a position as Director of Nursing in a skilled nursing facility.  Ms. Belling is a graduate of the nursing program at Long Island University, and has a Master's Degree in Gerontology from Hofstra University.  Ms. Belling has also satisfied the requirements for Court Evaluator/Guardian.  She has numerous professional affiliations and currently serves on the Advisory Board of the Long Island Alzheimer's Foundation.

Lisa DeRose, R.N., Medicaid Coordinator

Lisa has been working at SPS since 1994.  Her geriatric experience includes working in a skilled nursing facility.  Lisa heads up the Medicaid department, and with her aptitude for detail, does an excellent job.

Cathleen Sortino, R.N., M.S., Geriatric Care Manager

Cathy is a former Director of Nurses in a skilled nursing facility, with more than 25 years of geriatric experience.

Catherine Francis, R.N., B.S.N., Geriatric Care Manager

Catherine has many years experience working in the field of elder care, and is also a former Director of Nurses in a skilled nursing facility.

Vera Dugan has been working at SPS since 1991.  Prior to that, Vera was Director of Admissions at one of the largest nursing homes on Long Island for 18 years.  She is a wonderful Placement Coordinator.

Nancy Lumpp is a Placement Coordinator and Relocation Consultant, and has been with SPS since 1996.

Patricia LaMaida is Lisa's assistant in the Medicaid department since 1999.
